Fall (also called autumn) starts in late September in the Northern Hemisphere and in late March in the Southern Hemisphere. Fall starts on the equinox, a day in which daytime and nighttime are of equal duration.

The crafts use materials found around the house, like egg cartons, cardboard, paper, boxes, string, crayons, paint, glue, etc. See a page about color mixing to see how to combine paint to make all the colors of the rainbow.
